We’re recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a production site near Soham, working a Panama days-only shift pattern.
This is a hands‑on maintenance role in a busy environment where equipment reliability and quick response to issues are critical. You’ll be part of a shift team responsible for keeping production running safely and consistently.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment quickly and safely
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Supporting continuous production and reducing downtime
- Working as part of a shift engineering team on a Panama pattern
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and system updates
- Supporting general improvement and reliability initiatives
- Ensuring all work meets health and safety standards
What we’re looking for
- Multi-skilled engineering background
- Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment
- Confident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance
- Comfortable working a Panama days shift pattern
- Strong awareness of health and safety
- Practical, hands‑on approach with good problem‑solving skills
- Panama shift pattern (days only, 06:00–18:00)
- 22.5 days holiday (1 July – 30 June)

- 6-month probationary period
