Position Overview
Due to the need for maternity leave cover, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a psychologist to join the children and families team in Hounslow CAMHS for a full‑time one year fixed‑term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the multi‑disciplinary assessment clinic.
- Support team formulation.
- Undertake therapeutic work with children up to age 14 and their families/carers.
- Provide assessment, treatment and risk support to young people presenting with significant mental health problems and/or risk.
About the Team
The child and family team is multidisciplinary and friendly, holds team meetings in person and works collaboratively together. There are opportunities for wider connection and CPD with psychologists outside of the team, and the post holder will receive high‑quality, consistent supervision from within the service. We are looking for a skilled, hard‑working, and enthusiastic psychologist who is passionate about delivering high‑quality and effective services to children and young people.
