BI Engineer

We are seeking a highly technical Business Intelligence Engineer to join our growing BI team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a robust data warehouse.
• Oversee ingestion of varied and complex datasets at scale.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI Analysts to design, implement, and optimize data warehouse schemas.
• Architect, build, and maintain user‑friendly dashboards and complex data visualizations.
• Champion data quality and implement automation pipelines to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness.
• Drive improvements in data governance and uphold best‑in‑class data management practices.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to all levels of the organization, including the C‑suite.
• Mentor BI Analysts and upskill the team in technical competencies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expert SQL: Master‑level proficiency in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.
• Strong programming skills in Python (or a similar language) for data manipulation and automation.
• Deep knowledge of modern database and data warehouse design principles.
• Extensive experience with industry‑leading BI tools such as Tableau.
• Solid experience using source control (e.g., Git).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.

Desirable Skills (Nice‑to‑Have)

• Experience with ingestion tooling and orchestration platforms for automated data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Knowledge of C# and .NET environment.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or AI‑enhanced data workflows.
