Job Description:

Legal Technologist – Perm – £70k – London / Hybrid

We’re currently hiring for two Legal Technologists to join a high-performing and well-established Legal Technology function within a leading professional services environment.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of law, technology, and AI, supporting live client work while also shaping the future direction of legal innovation.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a growing team with a strong track record of delivering technology-led transformation. As part of a forward-thinking strategy with AI at its core, the team is expanding to bring in individuals who can not only advise but also build and deploy AI-driven solutions.

This is a highly visible, stakeholder-facing role where you’ll work closely with senior lawyers and business leaders, embedding technology directly into live matters and driving real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, identifying opportunities to embed technology into live workstreams
  • Design and deliver technology-enabled solutions across areas such as document automation, due diligence, contract analysis and workflow tools
  • Build and deploy AI-driven tools and solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Configure and optimise existing technology platforms to meet business needs
  • Deliver demos, proofs of concept and presentations to senior stakeholders
  • Translate business challenges into scalable, practical technology solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation by feeding insights into product and technology teams

What We’re Looking For

This role requires a balance of technical depth and stakeholder credibility – candidates must be comfortable both building solutions and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Key experience includes:

  • Proven experience delivering technology solutions within a professional or regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of AI, including practical application (ideally building tools, not just using them)
  • Experience with workflow tools, document automation, collaboration platforms or similar technologies
  • Ability to gather requirements, design solutions and deliver outcomes end-to-end
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives forward

Legal sector experience is desirable but not essential – strong candidates from consulting, engineering or other professional services backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Why Apply?

  • Work on cutting-edge AI initiatives within a fast-evolving environment
  • Join an established team with strong leadership and a clear growth roadmap
  • Gain exposure to high-profile, business-critical workstreams
  • Benefit from strong progression opportunities as the function continues to grow
  • Collaborate with leading external partners and access emerging technologies early
