Job Description: Master Scheduler (Full time, Derby / Hybrid – minimum 3 days on‑site).

The transformation aims to deliver connected, live data insights for executive leadership, driving optimised operational and financial outcomes. At the core is an Advanced Planning System (APS), which will enable concurrent planning, scenarios and data insights, changing the way Rolls‑Royce does planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key elements of the APS deployment plan.
  • Translate requirements across business areas and share with the IT team and partners.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the plan.
  • Ensure that data required for APS is sourced and quality issues identified and resolved.
  • Lead in redefining the business processes.
  • Be an advocate for the SIOP transformation.

Preferred requirements

  • Planning experience in the external supply chain, aftermarket or manufacturing.
  • A good understanding of a SIOP process (ideally in manufacturing industries).
  • Knowledge of planning tools within ERP systems (e.g., MRP) and potential experience of using an Advanced Planning System (APS).
  • Strong people skills experience, ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at different levels both internally and externally.
  • Robust organisational, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders and partners.
