AI Engineer Up to £150k | Hybrid (London)

We’re working with a high-growth AI company building systems that are already being used day-to-day by customers to automate and improve how work gets done. The team is focused on solving complex operational problems across areas like decision-making and workflow automation, using LLMs, agent-based systems, and modern data platforms. They’ve moved past early experimentation and are now scaling what’s already working.

The Role

You’ll build and deploy AI systems end-to-end, with a focus on LLM applications, agents, and scalable backend systems.

What You’ll Do

• Build LLM applications (RAG, agents, copilots)




• Design backend systems for AI-driven workflows




• Own full lifecycle: data, model and deployment




• Optimise performance, latency, and cost




• Work closely with product and engineering teams

What They’re Looking For

• Strong Python engineering background




• Experience shipping AI/ML systems into production




• Hands‑on with LLMs and modern tooling




• Solid system design and architecture skills
