Are you an experienced and compassionate Brain injury complex carer looking for a rewarding (temporary/permanent/contract) role in Haxton? This role offers competitive rates of £16 – £20, ongoing training, and the chance to make a real difference.

We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team, to provide essential care and support to children and adults in the comfort of their home environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Brain injury complex carer with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred 2:1 support in the client’s home
  • Implement daily therapy programmes (standing, post-Botox stretching, positioning)
  • Provide behavioural guidance and structured support
  • Maintain accurate digital care records (including eMAR and body maps)
  • Work collaboratively with family and MDT professionals
  • Drive a large manual wheelchair-accessible vehicle (WAV) where required

Key Job Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in complex care (ABI experience preferred)
  • Confident supporting neurocognitive and neurobehavioural needs
  • Driver (manual licence) – at least one driver per shift required
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a home with indoor and outdoor CCTV
