We have developed a well-supported pathway for newly qualified and foundation pharmacists looking to enhance their professional and clinical skillsets. You will begin the course at Band 6 level and on achieving well defined developmental gateways, progress to a Band 7 (expected time for completion of gateways is 15-18 months depending upon progress).

You will be an integral part of the Pharmacy team and, with supervision from senior colleagues, contribute professionally to the various sections of the department and provide a clinical pharmacy service to our wards and clinics. You will be able to rotate through clinical pharmacy areas in order to optimise patient benefit from treatment with medicines and ensure the safe, efficacious and cost effective use of medicines.
