Our client, a global designer and manufacturer of industrial fasteners, supplying OEMs across multiple sectors, is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Manager to lead its UK-based internal sales function.
This is a key leadership role focused on driving performance, developing people, and creating a high-performing, target-driven sales environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a team of Internal Sales professionals, ensuring best-in-class standards across all aspects of sales operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping team culture, improving processes, and consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Internal Sales Executives
- Set clear performance expectations and maintain high standards of execution
- Foster a positive, motivated, and high-performance working environment
- Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity, and conversion metrics to drive results
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices
- Collaborate with external sales, operations, and senior leadership teams
- Ensure consistent overachievement of sales targets
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales leadership or internal sales management role
- Strong track record of driving team performance and exceeding targets
- Demonstrable background within the industrial fasteners sector is essential
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and people management skills
- Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse and act on sales metrics
- Strong communication and organisational skills
