HLTA / Cover Supervisor

Location: Lambeth, London

Contract: Full-time / Part-time (term-time only)

Start date: As soon as possible

The Role

As an HLTA / Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
• Supervise whole classes in the absence of the class teacher
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in line with school policies
• Support teaching and learning across the school as required

We are looking for someone who has:

• HLTA status or recent experience as a Cover Supervisor
• Experience working with children or young people (primary or secondary)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, proactive and professional attitude

Experience working in Lambeth schools or diverse urban settings would be an advantage.
