Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Newcastle, NE15 0HFHourly Rate: £12.71Contract type: Permanent, Full TimeWorking hours: Monday – Friday, 7am to 3.30pm
About the role
Grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying, and more – you will be doing them all. As part of our team at the Newcastle site, you will keep grounds in wonderful condition for our client. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Responsibilities
- Grass cutting and strimming
- Hedge pruning
- Flower bed maintenance
- Spraying (weeds/ash/roaches etc.)
- General grounds maintenance tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous Grounds Maintenance experience required.
- A full valid UK driving license is essential.
- PA1 and PA6 licences desirable.
- Can‑do attitude and safety‑conscious mindset.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
