Level 3 Teaching Assistant – EYFS

Location: Primary School – Urmston

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time | Long-term role

PAYE Payroll – Weekly every Monday

We are currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Urmston, working within the EYFS setting. This is a long-term opportunity starting in September 2026, ideal for someone who thrives in early years and enjoys supporting children at the very start of their school journey.

The Role

• Support teaching and learning within an EYFS classroom
• Confidently support phonics delivery (e.g. Read Write Inc or similar)
• Lead small group interventions when required
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and settling children into school life
• Create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Strong experience within EYFS (Nursery or Reception)
• Confident supporting phonics and early reading development
• Patient, nurturing, and proactive approachStrong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to use initiative and lead small groups effectively
