Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is seeking an experienced Support Worker for their Care and Support service, based at 113 Highfield Street, Coalville, Leicestershire (LE67 3BZ). This is a project and community-based role within the Homes and Wellbeing directorate, paying £90.35–£119.43 per day, available from 15 June 2026.
Responsibilities
- Devising and reviewing individual care and support plans with risk assessments
- Key‑working with named service users
- Supporting with medication administration and personal care prompts
- Assisting with budgeting, cooking and domestic tasks
- Facilitating access to work, education, training and leisure activities
- Safeguarding adults and children at risk of abuse or neglect
- Maintaining accurate records via NCHA IT systems
- Responding to health and safety issues, including emergency procedures
- Operating on a rota and shift system, including bank holidays, weekends, and possible night‑time working and sleeping‑in duties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in care and support with young people aged 18–25, particularly those with learning disabilities or mental health needs
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check required
