Candidate Profile
As a Head Pastry Chef you will be focused, passionate and well organised with the ability to handle pressure and deliver. We are looking for an experienced & highly professional Head Pastry Chef leading our pastry team who has the talent and ability to prepare and produce high-quality pastry & patisseries consistently. You must be dual‑skilled as a rigorous manager and chef! You will lead a brigade of 14 dedicated chefs, where you will be in charge of their training, motivation and team structure. You will also ensure a good and professional working atmosphere. With excellent culinary skills and the desire to push for excellence, you will have experience in managing budgets, menu planning and costing and implementing standards and health and hygiene. You will a charismatic leader who has strong teaching skills, creativity, good relationship skills and physical and mental resilience.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar management position within a 5‑star establishment is essential and experience in the luxury London market would be preferred
- Ideal opportunity for someone who is currently working as a Head Pastry Chef, and is seeking a new challenge
- Exceptional cooking skills and the ability to adapt cooking to the local environment
- Proven experience in managing a profile centre and a team
