At MacGregor Industrial Supplies, we’re looking for someone practical, hands‑on and customer-focused to join our team as an Automower Installer / Technician.
This isn’t a desk job. One day you could be installing a robotic mower in a customer’s garden, the next you’re diagnosing a fault, delivering equipment or showing a customer how to get the best from their machine.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in making sure our customers get the right equipment, installed properly and working exactly as it should.
Out on Site
- Installing robotic mowers to a high standard
- Surveying gardens and advising customers on what’s needed
- Troubleshooting and repairing machines
- Servicing equipment to keep it running at its best
Working with Customers
- Demonstrating how equipment works in a clear, confident way
- Giving practical advice and answering questions
- Making sure every customer leaves confident in their purchase
Keeping Things Moving
- Delivering and collecting machinery across different locations
- Preparing equipment for hire or sale
- Carrying out pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs)
Staying Organised
- Booking out parts and keeping records accurate
- Completing paperwork and system updates
- Following health & safety and company standards
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to come from the exact same role — but you do need the right attitude.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys practical, hands‑on work
- Is confident dealing with customers
- Can work independently and solve problems on the spot
- Takes pride in doing things properly
- Is reliable, organised and willing to learn
Bonus if you’ve worked with:
- Plant, groundcare, agricultural, automotive or small‑engine equipment
- Full UK driving licence
