Responsibilities

• Use GPS and route optimisation software to plan and arrange daily delivery routes.
• Coordinate with drivers and tech team to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, refunds, and deliveries.
• Assist in real‑time parcel tracking and help drivers with operational questions.
• Support the transport clerks in ensuring goods are shipped and delivered on time.
• Promote eco‑friendly transport projects and automated sorting systems.
• Communicate with customers regarding service reviews, grievances, and delivery updates.
• Participate in initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and logistics efficiency.
• Verify adherence to corporate rules, health and safety regulations.

Essential Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in distribution, transportation, or logistics.
• Experience with inventory software, route planning tools, and GPS tracking.
• Strong organisational skills, meticulousness, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dedication to sustainability and superior customer service.

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 or above (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of UK freight handling protocols and road transport laws.
• Experience with parcel delivery networks such as DPD.
• Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Experience with parcel tracking systems.
