An exciting new job opportunity is now available for an experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new care home opening soon based in the Swaffham, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.
This is a modern, purpose‑built care home which provides residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care, offering a comfortable and supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
To be considered for this role you must be qualified as an RGN or RMN Nurse with an active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager and deal with the day‑to‑day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
- Alongside the Home Manager, manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
- Ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support and experience life opportunities to promote growth and independence.
- Flexible personnel may not always be in the office but would be expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses.
Preferred and Beneficial Skills & Experience
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
- The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
- The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
- Good clinical skills.
- Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP 50,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full‑time role for 40 hours a week working on day shifts.
