Assistant Manager – Salary £29,500, 40 hours per week

As an Assistant Manager, you will be a key part of our leadership team in store, helping to deliver KFC’s world‑famous fried chicken and exceptional customer service as we transform the UK’s rest‑stop experience.

What you will be doing

• Support day‑to‑day management and operation of the unit and colleagues, driving sales, managing the unit budget and P&L, delivering brand standards, Health & Safety and recruitment
• Drive consistent high‑quality customer service
• Report to the Restaurant Manager, feeding back on potential issues, progress and overall performance

Skills & Knowledge

• Understanding of maximising profit by driving sales and controlling costs
• Ability to build strong and positive relationships with stakeholders
• Adherence to and delivery of brand standards
• Emerging track record in managing and leading teams in a high‑volume, retail or catering brand environment
• Efficiency and productivity – ensuring timely delivery of tasks
