Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time, Term-Time only

Working Hours: Minimum of 28 hours over 4 days or 35 hours over 5 days (Job shares available), 38 weeks per year term-time all school holidays off

Salary: FTE Salary £25,287.00; Actual Salary 28 hours: £16,180.71; 35 hours: £20,225.89 (reflecting the annual 38 working weeks)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with curriculum staff in class to support learner progress and achievement.
  • Supervise learners during unstructured times when they are not directly supervised by curriculum staff.
  • Provide out-of-class academic support for learners on an individual or group basis.
  • Complete all necessary administrative duties, such as accurately recording student support.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Good standard of general education including Maths and English at GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent), or willingness to upskill.
  • Desirable but not essential: experience working with young people aged 16-25 with additional needs and/or EHCPs, preferably within education; experience in health, social care or community also relevant.
  • Experience or willingness to learn Office 365 and its applications.
