Handyman/ Yard Support

Handyman – 3-Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £27,000 per annum (pro rata) – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Responsibilities

• Jet washing, cleaning, and stripping down second‑hand equipment.
• Assist with the movement of machinery.
• Support general site upkeep, including breaking down pallets and waste materials.
• Carry out painting, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks.
• Assist with warehouse racking installation.
• Help with stock relocation and replacement as new systems are implemented.
• Provide support during on‑site installations, including two‑person lifts and equipment set‑up.
• Undertake general DIY and ad hoc tasks across the site.

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical DIY skills and confidence using tools such as drills, grinders, and multi‑tools.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
