Be the eyes, ears and warehouse mastermind behind the scenes of our operation, keeping cool while everything moves at 100mph whilst solving problems before anyone else notices them! We are a leading provider of logistics and supply chain management services, looking for a dedicated warehouse control tower operator to join our team. This role involves order processing, ensuring internal flow of goods and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Your Tasks
- Working as part of our control tower area on our warehouse shopfloor you will plan, monitor and control order processing and internal flow of goods to ensure on-time shipment and compliance with specified SLAs/KPIs
- Independently identify and resolve problems, initiate appropriate measures
- Communicate with specialist departments and management within Arvato
- Support and implement projects related to logistics and warehouse management
- Serve as the primary contact person and support for departments, account/operations management
- Provide SAP first‑level IT support
- Conduct inventories, stock counts, checks, and postings accurately and efficiently
Your Profile
- Experience working in a warehouse environment and familiarity with logistics/transport processes
- Proficiency in SAP system (WMS) and experience in using JIRA (desirable)
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, with excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and other relevant computer applications
- Excellent attention to detail with good numerical skills and record‑keeping abilities
- Proactive and initiative‑driven approach to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with other departments
- Commitment to organisational values and behaviours
- Solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to take corrective action
