Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Kitchen Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Production unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, staff rota, kitchen production, and ensuring efficient mise en place for Production & events. This is a hands-on role requiring leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee food preparation and service across a variety of events (weddings, large corporate, festivals).
  • Lead & mentor the kitchen team, including rota management, training & performance reviews.
  • Manage stock, ordering, waste control; ensuring food cost and gross profit targets are met.
  • Ensure all health & safety, hygiene, licensing and compliance standards are fully met.
  • Liaise with operations/venues management to ensure service timing and venue requirements are achieved.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager in event/large volume catering.
  • Strong leadership skills & ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • A clean driving licence is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety & hygiene legislation.
