About the RoleWe are currently looking for experienced and compassionate Home Care Assistants to join our agency team supporting clients in Runcorn and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for carers who enjoy working in the community and want flexible shifts that fit around their availability.
As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a key role in helping individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care including washing, dressing, and hygiene
- Preparing light meals and drinks
- Supporting clients with daily routines and wellbeing
- Ensuring a safe and respectful home environment
- Following care plans and reporting any changes or concerns
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a home care setting
- Enhanced DBS – Adult Workforce
- Completed mandatory training, including:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Moving & Handling
- Safeguarding Adults
- A compassionate and professional approach to care
- Strong communication and reliability
