General Maintenance Technician

Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting a General Maintenance Technician to join the team based in Loanhead, Edinburgh, UK. This is a full‑time, permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Respond promptly to reactive repair requests and resolve issues efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in maintenance areas
• Completion of all required documentation utilising the handheld Tablet system or customer paperwork

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role
• Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations
• Demonstrate high standards of working practice and lead by example
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Team player
• Flexible approach
