Your Mission
You’ll be responsible for keeping a fleet of Fork Lift Trucks (FLT) and material handling equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a multi‑skilled engineering role where your work directly impacts performance, uptime, and safety.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on FLTs and MHE
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical & electrical faults
- Supporting reliability across logistics operations
- Liaising with OEM technical support when required
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing spare parts, tools, and maintenance records (SAP rollout)
- Maintaining high safety and compliance standards
What You’ll Need
- FLT certification & valid licence
- Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / Apprenticeship)
- Strong fault‑finding ability (mechanical & electrical)
- Experience with FLTs or similar plant equipment
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good IT skills and structured approach to maintenance
