Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic Services team operating in Lanarkshire and Glasgow. As a Facilities Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our facilities, contributing to the smooth operation of our premises. Key location Lanarkshire for OSPA serviced offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance tasks as part of a multi-disciplined team, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Act as a key point of contact for communication with the facilities team, reporting and prioritising any issues while tracking and managing the tasks to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with the Services team to execute planned and reactive maintenance activities efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues, taking proactive measures to prevent disruptions to production.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritising tasks to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Document maintenance activities accurately, including work performed, materials used, and any additional information required for record-keeping purposes.
- On call weekend rota 1:4
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in a range of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and external contractors.
- A proactive approach to maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality.

Shifts: 39 hours per week, 5 day working week.
Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 4pm.
Required Experience: 2 years Maintenance.
