Field Service Engineer – Midlands
Salary: £42,500 Base, 70K OTE | Day Shifts | Permanent
We are seeking a skilled Mechanically biased Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering customer sites across the Midlands area.
This role is ideal for a mechanical engineer with a strong industrial background, particularly within environments such as print, paper, food, plastics, pharmaceutical, injection moulding, or similar manufacturing sectors. Experience in distribution or recycling is highly desirable, though strong engineers from other regulated or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
The role requires travel to customer sites across the Midlands area carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on an array of automated machinery. Overtime is expected regularly; the realistic OTE will be around £70k, and all travel and expenses are paid.
Non‑Negotiable Requirements
- Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical fault‑finding experience.
- Engineering qualification (Mechanical).
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Additional Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance or Service Engineer in the UK.
- Happy to travel and sometimes stay away.
- Strong mechanical skills.
