Overview
Our client, a major US hedge fund, with a rapidly growing London office, is looking to add an HR Assistant to join their Human Capital team. The hire is a newly created position.
Responsibilities
The hire will report to an HR Director and take ownership of highly visible responsibilities across HR operations and all areas of the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the onboarding lifecycle, including contract management, liaising with external vendors and stakeholders, and onboarding new joiners across all functions in Europe.
- Operating autonomously and proactively in a fast‑paced environment, supporting the HR Director with all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Supporting varied project work, mainly to streamline processes in onboarding, offboarding, and talent management.
The role’s remit provides a successful hire the opportunity to progress towards a Business Partner role within the firm’s Human Capital function.
Qualifications
Candidates should have 1‑4 years of experience as an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator, or HR Analyst. They must:
- Operate independently in a fast‑paced setting.
- Demonstrate willingness to step up and grow into the role.
- Have a strong academic profile (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
