Solution ArchitectEdinburgh (Hybrid)Up to £90,000 D.O.E
My client is seeking an experienced architect to play a pivotal role in delivering strategy and technical designs aligned with architectural roadmaps across key domains within Group Architecture. This position will support the Full Stack Architect in executing large-scale programs across diverse technology landscapes and contribute to the delivery of end-to-end architecture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of major technology strategies for the group, applying specific technical expertise to ensure these strategies are robust and aligned with governance processes.
- Support decision-making at executive levels by preparing high-impact architecture insights that inform strategic program design and governance.
- Define and influence strategic design principles, ensuring adherence to established architecture governance frameworks.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to peers and junior team members, helping to build and mature the architecture capability in alignment with the Architecture Target Operating Model.
- Strong technical design and enterprise architecture skills across complex environments.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end architecture designs that are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
- In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of one or more major application technology stacks (e.g., Microsoft .NET).
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate technological trends and align solutions with long-term business objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing executive stakeholders and presenting to senior committees.
