Availability windows and pay details are provided to give candidates an understanding of working times and expected earnings. The role is flexible, with a guaranteed minimum of 12–16 hours each week, and hourly rates start at £14.18, increasing to £15.45 for store deliveries within the M25.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the van and trays used are clean, tidy and organised.
- Leave the back yard clean, tidy and clear of rubbish, and pick up litter as appropriate.
- Participate in the tray wash process, washing trays as part of the routine.
- Load the van as required, checking for roadworthiness before departure.
- Communicate with customers about any changes to their order, including short‑code items and substitutions, and offer refunds for any items unhappy with.
- Treat all products and deliveries with care, as if they were your own.
- Explain to the customer that no additional charges will apply for substitutions.
- Deliver during the customer’s time slot, calling the customer before arriving if early.
- Call the store or centre if running thirty or more minutes late.
Qualifications and Requirements

- A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than three penalty points.
