1:1 Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education Ltd are currently working with a primary school in Ebbsfleet who are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis with that need additional support. Ideally you will have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant with students and supporting learning in EYFS, KS1 &/or KS2 & a good understanding of SEN.
The ideal candidate would have a strong track record of working in a 1:1 setting with a strong knowledge of SEN.
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.Should you be accepted for this post, you will be rewarded by:
The role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Manage any challenging behaviours appropriately
- Follow the Early Years framework
It is essential that you have:
- Previous experience working with EYFS students.
- Have a minimum Level 2 qualification.
- A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.
- Experience working with ASD students or special needs experience.
These are full time, long term positions working Monday-Friday, 8:30 – 3:30pm, term time only. For the right candidates a temp to permanent contract maybe offered.
