Process Technician

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Process Technician to support our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul operations at our Marston Green facility in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Key Activities

• General process operational skills including masking, painting and chemical application on key aerospace parts.
• Heat/Freeze press fitting Eccobond applications.
• Vapour/grit blast operations.
• Read and interpret engineering technical drawings and repair schemes.
• Carry out tasks directly impacting operational commitment.
• Apply quality and safety assurance techniques and accept responsibility for individual and team standards.
• Strict adherence to technical instruction.
• Adherence to team commitments and priorities.
• Maintain quality and safety compliance.
• Identify productivity improvements (turn‑around‑time reduction).
• Arrears reduction as required.
• Work to key priorities and due‑date adherence.
• Flexibility in skill set.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in a high technology mechanical engineering business with a proven track record of process, maintenance or repair skills.
• Ability to read and adhere to engineering drawings and strict written instructions.
• High attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Ability to work flexibly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
