We are an independent charity powered by local communities, working to improve the quality of life for people living with terminal illness, bereavement and mental health concerns.

About the Role

Saint Michael’s Hospice Charity Stores are at the heart of our community. We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Volunteer to join our friendly team in our store in Thirsk. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something special, supporting your local hospice while gaining valuable retail experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating a welcoming and friendly shop environment
  • Sorting, steaming and preparing donations for sale
  • Assisting with visual merchandising and shop displays
  • Supporting the team to keep the shop well‑presented and stocked

  • No previous retail experience required – full support and guidance will be provided
