Support a 44‑year‑old gentleman with generalized dystonia who lives at home with his 74‑year‑old father and a Labrador. The role involves personal care, transport, domestic duties and physical assistance.
- Provide personal care: washing, dressing, emptying bedroom commode, assisting with transfers and use of bathroom facilities.
- Assist with transport and transfer activities in and out of wheelchair and use of bedroom lifts and stair lift.
- Perform domestic duties: laundry, cleaning, cooking meals, preparing medication, shopping and errands.
- Offer physical assistance: walking bar use, leg stretching, foot splint and back brace support.
- Help with meal preparation and medication management.
Pay: £16.00 per hour, 25 hours per week (£400.00 PAYE). Pension contributions and Full Holiday Pay (5.6 weeks annual leave) are provided. Statutory Sick Pay up to 28 weeks at £123.25 per week, where applicable.
Qualifications: No DBS check or references required. Ability to assist with personal care, transport, domestic duties and physical assistance. Good physical stamina and caring attitude.
