Mechanical Assembly Operative – Key Duties

The position reports to the Production Manager and the key responsibilities / required skills are as follows:

Job Purpose Summary

• Assembling components to create sub-assemblies
• Building and testing of a range of different components, working to a high level of detail
• Working with small components – a strong attention to detail and high level of manual dexterity is required
• Completion of Test Certificates and Packing Sheets as necessary
• Have a keen interest in mechanical / electrical works
• Fitting a small amount of pre made cables

Essential Skills Base

• Good experience gained as a mechanical Assembly Operative is ESSENTIAL
• Electrical experience would be a bonus
• Able to carry out some manual handling tasksAble to handle small components
• Flexible and enthusiastic attitude
• A good team player

Core responsibilities of the role

• Assembling components to create sub-assemblies

• Completion of Test Certificates and Packing Sheets as necessary

We welcome applications from those with relevant experience and a positive, flexible approach. The roles are day shift only and involve no weekends. Please note though that we do require a minimum of 6 months recent mechanical assembly experience. Thank you
