Community Psychiatric Nurse – Band 6

Coyle Personnel are currently seeking Community Psychiatric Nurses for long‑term contracts based in the Bristol area.

Hours

Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (potential to compress hours for the right candidate).

Pay Rate

£25‑£27 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality mental health care to service users, including assessments, care planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of service user mental health needs.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support the mental health needs of service users and their families.
• Manage a caseload, adhering to service protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of nursing care, including clinical procedures, treatments, and the custody, storage, and administration of drugs.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current RMN qualification with active registration.
• Previous experience working within a Community Mental Health Team.
• Experience holding a caseload of at least 20‑25.
• Excellent communication, risk assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
• Access to a vehicle and a full drivers licence.
