Responsibilities
- Write and update web content for Blind Life in Durham’s website, ensuring compliance with SEO practices and brand voice.
- Produce case studies and stories that communicate the charity’s impact, for use on the website, marketing materials, and annual reports.
- Integrate images to enhance copy.
Skills & Qualities
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Understanding of different mediums and formats – print copy versus web copy.
- Experience writing with SEO and brand consistency.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to grasp organisational needs quickly and ask key clarifying questions.
- Awareness of resource constraints in a small charity and ability to work effectively within them.
- Ability to follow guidelines and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility in approach.
Location & Hours
8 Brookside Avenue, Crook, DL15 8LB
Approximately 2 hours per week; hours are flexible.

Support and training will be provided.

Blind Life in Durham is a voluntary charity that delivers social and sporting events to people with sight loss and severe sight loss since 2004. Volunteers play an integral role in these activities and may also participate in events and present new ideas.
