Catering Assistant (Preston Park Museum)

Job Summary

Stockton‑on‑Tees Borough Council is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team at the café in the new development at Preston Park Museum.

Essential qualities

• Organised and hard‑working
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to work locally in Stockton‑on‑Tees

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food, drinks and snacks to visitors.
• Assist in general food preparation, adhering to the highest food and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Sound standards of hygiene.
• Ability to be organised.
• Previous experience in catering is advantageous but not required.

Compensation and Hours

Part‑time role of 20 hours per week. Salary is £13,403 per annum.
