Sales Assistant – Aberdeen

Smyths Toys is one of the world’s largest specialty retailers of children’s toys. We operate online and in physical stores across Europe and the UK.

About the Role

This temporary contract role offers a rate of pay of £12.50 per hour for candidates over 21 and £10.25 per hour for those under 21. The role requires flexibility to work seven days a week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Operate the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products to help customers

Ideal Candidate

Retail experience in any of the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:

• Outdoor/Bikes
• Nursery
• Software & Gaming
• Backdoor/Warehouse
