Sales Assistant – Aberdeen

About The Role

We are looking for Sales Assistants for Smyths Toys Superstores.

This is a temporary contract, with a rate of £12.50 per hour for employees over 21 and £10.25 per hour for employees under 21.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products to help customers

The Ideal Candidate

Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:

• Nursery
• Software & Gaming
• Backdoor/Warehouse

The store is open 7 days a week, so Sales Assistants must be flexible and able to work weekends, which are the busiest trading days.
