Morning Shift – 6:00am to 2:30pm

Overview

Metalis, working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business, is looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator on a permanent basis to support continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal to specification
• Working from engineering drawings to produce accurate components
• Fabricating sheet metal parts using hand tools and various tooling
• Welding and grinding components where required
• Performing measurements and calculations to ensure accuracy of bends and angles
• Assembling fabricated parts into finished products
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating press brake machinery – essential
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working with sheet metal fabrication
• Welding and grinding experience beneficial
• Good mathematical ability for measurements and calculations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Shifts & Salary

Full-time, permanent position.

Morning Shift – 6:00am to 2:30pm
