We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed teacher to join our welcoming Catholic primary school as a PPA Cover Teacher (0.8 FTE) for a fixed period of two terms, commencing 1st September 2026.

We are looking for a teacher who can deliver high‑quality teaching across all primary age ranges and is passionate about raising standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality PPA throughout the school.
• Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity for pupils.

Qualifications and Experience

• Dynamic and adaptable teacher able to teach across all primary phases.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Effective behaviour management that creates a calm, supportive classroom environment.
• Clear understanding of, and commitment to, the Catholic ethos of the school (applicants of all faiths welcome who support this ethos).
• Reflective, enthusiastic and committed to continuous professional development.
