Role Overview
We are recruiting for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join a busy and supportive team. The role involves handling inbound and outbound customer calls, supporting the wider sales function, and identifying opportunities to up-sell where appropriate.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships within a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls and manage outbound call schedules in line with team targets
- Provide day-to-day support to the sales team
- Build rapport and maintain effective, professional relationships with customers
- Discuss customer orders, delivery schedules, and handle queries during busy seasonal periods
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities during customer interactions
- Accurately log and update customer information within the CRM system
- Ensure all call handling and data management complies with GDPR regulations
Experience & Skills Required
- Previous customer service and call handling experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Confidence identifying and discussing up-selling opportunities
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage workload effectively
- Resilient with a strong work ethic and proactive approach
Training & Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths desirable but not essential
- Full training provided
- CRM system experience beneficial but not essential
Working Pattern & Flexibility
- Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 5:00pm
- Occasional flexibility required during peak periods
- Holiday restrictions apply during busy seasonal months
