The RoleAs a Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred care and support to individuals with a range of needs including:Elderly careLearning disabilitiesAutismPhysical disabilitiesComplex care needsYou will play a vital role in enabling people to live independently and safely within their homes and communities.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care and support with daily living activitiesAssist with medication administrationSupport individuals with mobility and independenceFollow care plans and risk assessmentsMaintain accurate care recordsBuild positive relationships with service users and familiesPromote dignity, choice, and independenceFollow safeguarding and health & safety procedures

DesirablePrevious experience in domiciliary care, supported living, or complex careCare Certificate or NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social CareExperience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism

Working EnvironmentYou will work in a community-based care environment, supporting individuals in their own homes and supported living settings across Bristol and surrounding areas.
This role involves travelling between service users, delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing. Some individuals may require specialist or complex care support, so the ability to remain calm, compassionate and professional in different situations is essential.
