Forklift Driver

A Counterbalance FLT Driver / Steel Operative is required for a large steel processing company based in Rowley Regis. It is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, multi-national steel processing company during a period of growth.

You need an in-date counterbalance FLT licence for this role.

Duties

• Manual handling of steel on the back end of a machine line
• Driving a counterbalance FLT
• Packing, stacking and palletising stock
• Assisting with loading / unloading vehicles for dispatch

This position is working days to begin with but you must have flexibility to work mornings / afternoons rotating.

Working Hours

• Days – 6:40am – 3:00pm / 1:00pm finish on Fridays
• Moving onto mornings, afternoons rotating

The rate of pay is £12.71 to begin with whilst on days.

This Counterbalance FLT Driver / Steel Operative position is working on a direct permanent basis – with a permanent contract from day one and no agency period.
