Help build sustainable funding for a charity tackling inequality in endometriosis care. We’re looking for someone to lead fundraising activity that directly supports advocacy, awareness, and real-world change.
What difference will you make?
This role will play a vital part in strengthening our charity’s ability to create lasting change for people affected by endometriosis.
Endometriosis remains underfunded, under-researched, and widely misunderstood. Our work focuses on challenging inequalities in care, amplifying lived experience, and pushing for better, more inclusive health outcomes. To do this effectively, we need sustainable, ethical funding — and that is where this role makes a real difference.
By shaping and delivering our fundraising activity, the Fundraising Manager will directly support the stability and growth of the organisation. Their work will help ensure we can continue running events, delivering advocacy and awareness work, supporting communities, and contributing to research-informed change. Without strong fundraising, many of these activities simply would not be possible.
This role also helps us move from short-term, reactive fundraising to a more sustainable and planned approach. That means greater financial resilience, better use of resources, and more confidence in our ability to plan long-term projects that support our beneficiaries. The impact of this work will be felt across every area of the organisation.
The Fundraising Manager will also help build and nurture relationships with supporters, partners, and volunteers. This strengthens trust in our work and helps more people feel connected to our mission. Ethical, values-led fundraising ensures that supporters know their contributions are used responsibly and make a genuine difference.
Ultimately, the impact of this role goes beyond income. By helping secure sustainable funding, the Fundraising Manager enables us to challenge systemic gaps in endometriosis care, reach more people who are often overlooked, and advocate more effectively for change within healthcare and policy spaces.
Their contribution helps turn commitment into action — ensuring our organisation can continue to grow, adapt, and respond to the needs of the communities we exist to support.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is motivated by social impact and values ethical, inclusive practice. The most important qualities for this role are commitment, integrity, and a willingness to work collaboratively within a small, mission-driven organisation.
Our ideal volunteer is someone who enjoys building sustainable systems and understands that good fundraising is about relationships, trust, and long-term impact. You should be comfortable taking ownership of fundraising activity while also working closely with trustees, leadership, and volunteers.
Strong communication skills are important, as the role involves working with supporters, partners, and internal teams. You should be able to explain ideas clearly, adapt your approach to different audiences, and represent the organisation in a professional and respectful way.
We welcome volunteers with fundraising experience, whether gained through paid roles or volunteering. This could include experience in community fundraising, individual giving, campaigns, events-based fundraising, or supporter engagement. However, we are equally open to volunteers who bring transferable skills from related areas such as sales, relationship management, marketing, project management, or business development.
You should be organised and able to manage multiple priorities, with a practical approach to turning plans into action. Some strategic thinking is helpful, but this role also benefits from someone who enjoys being hands‑on and problem‑solving as activity develops.
An understanding of ethical fundraising principles, or a willingness to learn and work within them, is essential. You will be supported with policies, guidance, and supervision, and you are not expected to have specialist knowledge of endometriosis or health advocacy — curiosity, openness, and respect for lived experience are far more important.
We are particularly keen to hear from people who value inclusion, accessibility, and compassion in their work. Lived experience of chronic illness, disability, or navigating healthcare systems can be an asset, but it is not a requirement.
Above all, we are looking for someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution and understands that their work will help sustain an organisation tackling an under‑funded and often overlooked health condition.

What will you be doing?
We are seeking a Fundraising Manager to help strengthen the long‑term sustainability of our charity and support our work improving care, awareness, and equity for people affected by endometriosis.
Our organisation works at the intersection of advocacy, research, and community support. We challenge gaps in healthcare, amplify lived experience, and work to ensure endometriosis care is accessible, inclusive, and evidence‑led. As we continue to grow, developing ethical and sustainable fundraising is a key priority.
As Fundraising Manager, you will lead the planning and delivery of our fundraising activity. This includes shaping how we raise funds, supporting campaigns and appeals, and helping turn supporter interest into meaningful, values‑aligned income. You will play a central role in ensuring we can continue and expand our work.
Key responsibilities include developing and coordinating fundraising activity, supporting and overseeing fundraising volunteers, and working closely with our Events Manager to integrate fundraising into events. You will also help build and maintain positive relationships with supporters, donors, and partners, ensuring they feel informed, valued, and connected to our impact.
You will work alongside a small, committed team and report to the Funding & Fundraising Trustee, Operations Manager, and Founder. Strategic direction is provided by the Board of Trustees, while day‑to‑day delivery is supported by the operations and events teams. You will have clear boundaries, support, and oversight, but also genuine scope to shape how fundraising develops.
This role is both strategic and hands‑on. You will help plan fundraising approaches and also support making them happen — whether that’s coordinating campaigns, supporting volunteers, or contributing to ideas for new income streams. We are open to different fundraising approaches and welcome creativity, as long as activity remains ethical, inclusive, and aligned with our values.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys building sustainable systems, working collaboratively, and contributing to meaningful social impact. You do not need prior experience in endometriosis or women’s health — what matters most is your commitment to ethical fundraising and your willingness to support a cause that is often under‑funded and overlooked.
We offer flexibility, support, and the chance to make a tangible difference within a growing, values‑led organisation.
