KS1 Class Teacher – Worksop

Position: KS1 Class Teacher
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Full-time or part-time, temporary ongoing (flexible supply)
Pay: £130 – £190 per day (paid via PAYE – no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you
About the Role
As a KS1 Class Teacher in Worksop, you will deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning to pupils in Year 1 and Year 2, supporting their early reading, writing, numeracy and social development. Roles available range from day-to-day cover to longer‑term bookings for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the KS1 curriculum
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment
- Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs
- Assess progress and maintain learning standards
- Work collaboratively with support staff and teachers
- Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous KS1 teaching experience (Year 1 or Year 2)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
