Multi-Skilled Operative
£15.19+ per hour | HU16 | Monday-Friday | Early Finish Fridays
We’re working with a well-established client in the modular/building sector who are looking to bring in a reliable Multi-Skilled Operative to strengthen their team.
This is hands-on, varied work. You’ll be involved in full builds and refurbishments, picking up experience across different trades and actually seeing projects through.
If you’re after something stable where you can develop your skills, this is worth a look.
You’ll be working across the build and refurbishment of modular units, supporting different areas of the operation as required.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Carrying out assembly and refurbishment work
- Supporting internal and external fit-out
- Assisting with installations when needed
- Using tools daily across a range of tasks
- Getting involved in:
- Basic carpentry
- Plumbing support
- Electrical assistance (non-qualified)
- General repairs and finishing
It’s varied, practical work and no two days are the same.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can come in and get stuck in.
You’ll need:
- Experience in modular, portable or similar hands‑on environments
- Confidence using tools and carrying out semi-skilled work
- Reliable attitude – turns up, gets on with it
- Good awareness of health & safety
Desirable:
- Background in a trade (carpentry, plumbing etc.)
- FLT or plant experience
- Driving licence
