We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Fairfield House Hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for a kitchen section, develop your culinary skills, and contribute to the high standards of our award-winning hotel.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage a section of the kitchen and ensure smooth operation.
  • Execute dishes according to recipes and standards, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
  • Strictly adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels for your section and assist with ordering and rotation.
  • Support and guide Commis Chefs and junior team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace at all times.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant or hotel.
  • Professional cookery qualifications desirable but not essential.
  • Strong passion for food and eagerness to develop your culinary skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent results.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
