Duties
- Engine building and restoration on classic vehicles spanning from the 1950s to 2015
- Fabrication, design, and assembly of engine components
- Managing multiple heritage vehicle projects with precision and care
- Assisting with media blasting, painting, and bodywork repairs in‑house
- Mentoring apprentices and junior team members to promote skill‑sharing
- Upholding high standards of workmanship in accordance with vintage vehicle specifications
- Collaborating with skilled technicians specialising in historic vehicles to ensure top‑quality results
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, engine building, or machining, with manual lathe and mill skills
- Background within classic car restoration environments highly desirable
- Genuine passion for vintage and heritage vehicle restoration
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently with attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for learning about classic car brands and models
- Positive attitude, team player, with a willingness to grow within the company
- Previous experience working with vintage, historic, or classic vehicles is advantageous
